Mayor of New York City, Eric Adams, has big plans for making the most of his influx of illegal immigrants being delivered to the city every day. Integrating them into the American way of life and getting them sheltered has been incredibly difficult for them. Refusing to give up their title as a “sanctuary city,” he and the rest of NYC are now tasked with figuring out answers for what to do with them.
Appearing before a City Hall briefing about the city’s lack of lifeguards to open the pools as the summer approaches, Adams thinks he has one of the best solutions to the problem. “How do we have a large body of people that are in our city, our country, that are excellent swimmers and at the same time we need lifeguards — and the only obstacle is that we won’t give them the right to work to become a lifeguard.”
This horrific and racist mentality is another shining example of the thinly veiled contempt that Adams and other Democrats have for the illegals. While most Americans want them sent back to their home countries, we aren’t entertaining racist ideas to use them while they are here.
Continuing, Adams tried pointing out that other areas like housekeeping, basic medical care, and food service are all able to get these illegals on a quick hiring program. His attempts to deflect away from the racist implications of calling them all good swimmers only make the case of him being hateful more obvious. Choosing professions that are commonly associated with illegals anyway just underscores the hate and contempt he truly has in his heart.
If NYC has all these openings, then why isn’t priority being given to hiring the homeless, disabled, or Veterans of NYC in these roles? They sure as hell deserve it more than the illegals who just got off the bus from Texas.
